We would like to thank you for planning a visit to the Andernach geyser. You can only buy tickets online

Exploring the exhibition is not available!

The exhibition in the Geyser Centre will remain closed due to the conditions associated with the Corona Pandemic! Our exhibition lives from experiencing with all senses, through grasping and interacting, seeing, hearing, feeling, moving and discovering together, which is only possible to a very limited extent or not at all under the present conditions.

1. Boat trip to Namedyer Werth

Our boat will take you to the Rhine peninsula Namedyer Werth, where the geyser is located. In the 2020 season, the boat sails daily at 11:15, 13:05, 15:00 and 17:00.

Tickets can be booked online for one of these departure times. You may choose where you would like to sit in our “on-board” available seating plan. The occupancy of the tables is based on the valid regulations of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in attempting to keep social contacts to a minimum,  (ex. individuals, family members of one's own household, or with one or more persons, of another household). There is no obligation to eat or drink on board. Protective wear for mouth and nose, is required on board while moving around, but can be taken off while sitting at the table. Likewise, the existing rules of social distancing must be observed.

Your ticket will be checked at the entrance of the boat. Please have it ready to show us (printed or digitally with the code on your mobile device).

2. Geyser’s Eruption

Once the boat has docked at the Namedyer Werth (peninsula where the Geyser is) you will leave the boat and walk about 350 m to the eruption site. Here you will witness the highest cold-water geyser in the world. After the eruption, you will head back to the boat which will bring you back to Andernach.
